1. Who we are

HandyCandor Home Service, Upkeep & Repair provides handyman, home repair, and property upkeep services in Flagler and Volusia Counties, Florida, including Palm Coast, Flagler Beach, Bunnell, Ormond Beach, Ormond-By-The-Sea, Daytona Beach, Daytona Beach Shores, Port Orange, New Smyrna Beach, Edgewater, and DeLand. Our office is at 4 Office Park Drive, Palm Coast, FL 32137.

2. Using the Site

You may use the Site for personal, lawful purposes, such as learning about our services, reading our content, and contacting us. You agree not to:

Use the Site in any way that breaks a law or regulation
Submit false, misleading, or another person's information
Try to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems
Copy, scrape, or republish Site content for commercial use without our written permission

3. Information on the Site

The service descriptions, photos, prices, and other information on the Site are general and provided for convenience. They are not an offer, quote, or guarantee. Services, service areas, and availability may change without notice. We work to keep the Site accurate, but we do not promise that all content is complete, current, or error-free.

4. Estimates, scheduling, and service agreements

Requesting an estimate or appointment through the Site, by phone, or by email does not create a contract. Any work we perform is governed by the written estimate, work order, or invoice for that job, which sets the scope, price, schedule, and payment terms. If those documents conflict with these Terms, the job documents control for that job.

5. Scope of our work

HandyCandor performs general handyman, repair, and upkeep work. We do not perform work that Florida law or local codes require a licensed contractor to perform, such as structural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or roofing work that needs a state or local license or permit. When a job needs that kind of work, we may refer you to a licensed professional. Any referral is a courtesy, and we are not responsible for the work of third parties.

6. Tips, blog posts, and DIY content

Our blog, videos, and how-to content are for general information only. Home repair involves risk. If you choose to do a project yourself, you do so at your own risk, and you are responsible for following safety practices, manufacturer instructions, and applicable codes. HandyCandor is not liable for injury, loss, or damage resulting from your use of DIY content.

7. Reviews and submissions

If you submit a review, photo, comment, or other content to us or through the Site, you confirm it is truthful and that you have the right to share it. You give HandyCandor a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, and share that content on the Site, our social media, and our marketing. We may remove any submission at our discretion. We do not edit reviews to change their meaning.

8. Contact forms and communications

When you contact us through the Site, you agree that we may reply by phone, email, or text at the contact details you provide, about your request. Please do not send sensitive personal information, such as payment card numbers, through Site forms or email.

9. Text messages

Program. HandyCandor sends customer care text messages, including replies to your inquiries, estimate and appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, scheduling updates, job status updates, and invoice and payment reminders.

Opting in. You agree to receive texts by checking the optional SMS consent box on the contact or estimate request form at handycandor.com and submitting your mobile number. Consent is not a condition of requesting an estimate or buying any service.

Message frequency varies based on your requests and scheduled services. Message and data rates may apply.

Opting out. Reply STOP at any time to cancel. You will receive one final message confirming you are unsubscribed. Reply START to resubscribe.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not share your mobile number or text messaging consent with third parties for marketing. See our Privacy Policy for details.

10. Intellectual property

The Site and its content, including the HandyCandor name, logo, slogan ("Where integrity leads, quality follows"), text, photos, videos, and design, belong to HandyCandor or its licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, modify, or use them without our written permission, except to share a link to a Site page.

11. Third-party links and services

The Site may link to or display content from third parties, such as Google, the Better Business Bureau, review sites, maps, and social media. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information through the Site. By using the Site, you agree to that policy.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, HandyCandor disclaims all warranties about the Site, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of viruses or errors. Any warranty on work we perform is stated only in that job's written documents.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, HandyCandor and its owners, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or its content. This section does not limit any rights you have under a written service agreement or that cannot be limited under Florida law.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless HandyCandor and its owners, employees, and contractors from claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

16. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the Site or these Terms will be brought in the state courts located in Flagler County, Florida, and you agree to that venue.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
